Travel Bars

If you store anything in your cupboards while traveling, these little beauties will save you from having stuff fly out and hit you on the head the first time you open that cupboard or your refrigerator.  We went years without using them and I just packed everything very tightly.  Then the fridge door came unlocked on us.  Pickles were everywhere and just try and get that smell cleaned up once its under your slide!  Ick!  Since we started using these, and we have been on some really bumpy roads, no more surprises when I open the cupboards and our fridge items stay right where I leave them.  I agree they are a little spendy and you can try the less expensive adjustable curtain rods.  I tried the curtain rods first and had issues with the rubber ends not being thick enough and the rod poking through into my cabinets,  Glad the scratches are on the inside and not the outside.  My suggestion is to just go with these to begin with and save the surprises for fun ones at your site.
