This is one of those items that when you need it, you need it.  We have been in situations where the electrical box is just a little too far away to reach with our normal 50 AMP RV cord.  We have probably used this 5 times over the last 5 years, however, would not have had “normal” power without it.  I consider this item an insurance item to make sure we are never without.
