If you’ve ever gone to a park with your 50 AMP rig and they only offer 30 AMP service, you need this.  This allows you to plug your adapter into a 50 AMP outlet and then plug that into the 30AMP service.  You probably can’t run your microwave and coffee pot at the same time, but you’ll have lights, fridge and the basics to keep you up and running.  We also have a 30 AMP female to 110 AMP male just to make sure we can plug into a family or friends electric if you are ever boondocking in a driveway.
