Protect your hoses and yourself from icky water.  As full-timers, we replace ours every 60 days with city water and every 30 days with well water.  There is nothing worse than turning on your faucet to do dishes and seeing orange water and smelling that horrible sulfur smell from too much iron.  We bought this one first with the flexible hose piece and now just purchase filters as needed for replacements.
