In all fairness, I tried.  I mean, I really tried not to have this, and it just became more of a pain than it was worth.  So, I bit the bullet and bought this printer/scanner combination.  I do not recommend it for pictures, but it’s great for everything paperwork related.  I also really like that it doesn’t use much ink and, in the event, it starts to get a little dry, I just do a super clean and it goes right back to working like a champ.  It’s not super heavy and I actually store it inside my basket coffee table or under my bed.  Worth it for me.
