Portable fire pit

Dave and I like a good fire at night, outside of Homer.  What we’ve noticed is a lot of areas we visit either don’t have fire-pits or have burning bans running.  (I also am not a fan of crawling in bed smelling like wood smoke and let’s face it, that’s the real reason we went with this option).  We’ve used this for about 6 months, and it’s worked great.  It provides some heat so you can keep your fingers and toes warm and at the same time, since the flame is adjustable, you can set it lower and just enjoy a good fire.  It doesn’t take up much room and we travel with it in the back bed of our pickup.  Fits under our hitch perfectly.
