20 Volt rechargeable Impact Driver / Lug nut bit
I’ve seen more posts talk about it’s not if you’ll have a tire problem, but when. I can tell you, it happened to us and this little piece of heaven saved the day. We actually carry a DeWalt line of 20v battery operated tools for use all over our RV, and this one stays in our tow vehicle at all times. It makes the “required” list because when those lug nuts are screwed on that tire and you just cannot get them off manually, two little pushes of the button and “zip, zip”, the tire is free. Some RVers have service programs, the problem is when you don’t have cell phone service and you can either change it out yourself, or unhook the RV and drive away until you find a town or service. We used our leveling blocks to raise the tire in front of our flat one and “zip, zip”, we changed to our spare and were on our way. We make sure to carry the bits that fit the lug nuts for both our trailer and tow vehicle.
