It feels like home!

We are all set up and currently living in Nashwauk, MN. We completed moving into the RV about two weeks ago and have finalized all the little things we wanted to do to make it feel like home, just this week. The curtains are hung, our clothes are fitting into the drawer space, the washer and dryer are working great, and my new workspace is all set up just waiting for the next contract. It really has been a good thing downsizing and eliminating all that responsibility that comes with owning a home. We still have our 20+ years of memories we made in Wyoming with all of you, we just realized it was time to start doing what we really wanted to, and that’s to see all the beautiful parts of the US. This website is intended to help us keep in touch and you can follow our adventures as we move around.

Rocky and Max have settled into our new lifestyle and are loving their walks each day. Max has actually lost some weight which is awesome and he’s looking svelte. They’ve each got their “spots” claimed in our new home. Rocky in the big picture window in the bedroom and Max in his side of the recliner next to Dave. After spending the last month in the queen size bed at the cabin, there is nothing like having our king size bed back. Sooooo comfy for all of us!

Dave and I are finally starting to leave our little home nest and get out more and more. We’re having dinner out two nights this week with family in the area. As you all know, that’s a big change for us. Rather than just hibernating, we are trying to be active and enjoy this area and see people we haven’t seen in a long time. Next week we are planning a trip to see the mine overlook in Hibbing. We heard it was just re-done and is something to behold. Pictures will follow.

For those of you in the area, feel free to drop in on us. We’re right in Nashwauk at the city campground. The view isn’t fabulous, but it’s fun to see spring just starting to touch the trees and grass. Spring green may become my favorite color along with sunshine yellow, once it arrives up here in the north land.

More to come as we travel around, so feel free to follow us and check out what we are up to and where we are headed next.

Dave and Theresa
